My friend bought us the Le Cordon Bleu cookery school’s $50 Valentine’s Day treat box for two. There were 10 petite items in the box.

Each treat was soooooooo different to each other and it was hard to choose what looked like the best tasting treat for my last sampling.

It appears different skills had been used to create each of the five different items as each item was unique in it’s own class.

A common theme was the use of different fruit and different ways to showcase each particular fruit. Some were presented fresh, others cooked in various ways or soaked in alcohol.

Well done cookery school

Definitely not for the gluten or dairy intolerant person.

Enjoyable high tea here on lower Cuba Street– served and produced by students of Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand. On level 2 by reception, you can see the students learning either Cuisine or Pattiserie classical French techniques taught by chef tutors. On level 3 you can enjoy High Tea or 3-10 course lunch and dinners during their Brasserie week. I highly recommend for those wanting a high-quality meal for an affordable price. Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand is one of the top culinary schools in the country, and also run their own restaurant once at the end of each term allowing the public to taste and see student creations.
Great high tea for decent money. Kids friendly. Nice interior and very good service.
Once a quarter, Le Cordon Bleu runs a fine dining restaurant where students cook and serve and their highly skilled teachers supervise and help. It is a unique place to have a fine dining experience for a fraction of the market price.
Just had a three course lunch served and cooked by students of the school. What a great afternoon of well cooked and beautifully served food. Our server Brian did a stunning job. The chefs of the day equally so. We can’t wait to go back.
Beautiful High Tea with so much variety! Sweets and Savoury selection
Eg, Mango Panna Cotta with many extras
Scones with butter cream n jam etc etc
Nice coffee
Great customer service
