The Learning Croissant is a great place for people of all ages to come and learn French. Véronique Boulangeat’s classes are always fun and my daughter and I have been able to make lots of progress in under a year. Veronique teaches in an easy to comprehend manner and gives us many opportunities to practice our speaking and writing skills. Her teaching expertise extends out from the physical classroom and to our online meetings, and we have both been able to adapt to online learning without any fallback. If you are looking for an enjoyable and fun learning experience, Véronique does a wonderful job at blending useful information with interesting activities.
My husband and I took Zoom French classes with Veronique for over a year, and we cannot recommend the experience enough! We especially loved the variety in the lessons – we covered grammar, reading, listening, speaking, etc. We also appreciated her flexibility with our different levels (I had taken some high school French but my husband was brand new to the language). It was great that she made it possible for us to study together and both learn. Merci, Veronique!
About 6 months after I had started taking French lessons with Veronique, I spent 5 weeks in the south of France by myself and I was capable of communicating decently well. I was pleasantly surprised because I knew very little French prior to our lessons! I continue to enjoy our lessons both in person and online to improve my written French. She explains things very well, is patient and kind. She is a great teacher!
