You are warned. This campus, the High School campus of LFPA is nothing like the K-6 campus. My children attended both. The K-6 was a delightful, caring and quality well balanced experience! However that does NOT carry over into the High School Campus, imo. They collect oodles of money for “dress down” days and you cannot see where all this money goes??! They could desperately use a safer ball court surface outside since they do not have one indoors for the High School. My son was hurt numerous times from unsupervised PE activities as well as mishaps due to the rough old fashioned asphalt pavement. And it chews through shoes. Communication with administrators or teachers is one sided and they will take matters into their hands without even a phone call to a parent. My son “survived” 2 years, as did my daughter. My daughter was never more depressed in her life than during her time at LFPA high school. Bullying is very common and character traits are not talked about. Teachers and staff turn blind eyes to the social issues on campus as long as their “shows go on” it is all about the production.
This school’s Adults are Bully themselves. The school as made false reports and justified themselves for being too busy to address the Bullying acted out by its own staff. The Learning Foundation (Evelyn Taylor) as no problem with having your privacy posted publicly on Facebook by their staff. The teachers, teacher’s assistants are instigators, the principal supports Mrs.Kim and Jacqueline Montes on how critical and cruel they behaved with my 4 year old. This school is FULL OF DRAMA! I have screen shots of everything. With the screen shots you will be able to see how unprofessional, and biased this school is. I contacted the President and she permitted everything to happen, what you permit is what you promote. The problem begins with the President, Evelyn Taylor.
This is the best school I have been to and they dont accept bullying which I’m glad about. But there is one thing that made it from 5 to now 3. The new Admin, they treat us like kids, don’t get me wrong, I love the school, and I liked the new Vice Principal. It’s just the way they treat us. Not a fan of that, if it is changed this coming school year, than I might bring it up back to 5 stars. I genuinely miss the old Principal, he was the best. His name was Mr. Villa. I wish he didn’t leave the school. I haven’t gotten on any of thier bad sides that I’m aware of. The best teachers we had there were Mr. Glaser (History), Ms. Mason (History), and Mrs. Hiner (History), Mr. Scott (Technical Theater AKA Stage Craft), and Mr. Anderson (IP Teacher I had)
