I am a Student at Legacy school of the Arts, and Throughout my Entire time being at this School, this School has done nothing but make me Feel Unsafe Here, The Students Trash the School, Bully people and Make many Racial and Homophobic Slurs, this School is a School I would Not Recommend for your Children to Go coming from a 8th Grader, the Main Issues is one of the Teachers (Mr. Yoo or Joshua Yoo) who Not Only Says Rude Things to the 8th Graders, but the Staff do Nothing about it and Blame the Entire thing on the Students Because of “Behavior” Many Students Get Suspended here Because their Always Fighting, Either with Students or Teachers, Another Thing is the Administration, The Admin Staff Do nothing to Protect The Students other than Doing this Talk or Lecture Session called “TTO” or Talk Things Out, WHAT IS TALKING GOING TO DO? ITS ONLY GOING TO MAKE THINGS WORSE. As a Student who’s Witnessed many Fights and Even got into a Couple of Fights, The Administration Team In Legacy School of the Arts Does Nothing to Help the Kids, Other Than Expressing it Out to The Other Students during “Legacy Hall” or Calling the Students Parents, the Only Time they Ever Suspend the Kid is way To Late when the Kids have been doing this since 6th Grade. To Put this Shortly, the Only Possible thing that Can Be Good About this School is the YMCA Program,The Clubs and the Majors. If you are a Parent who is going to have a Kid going into Middle School, Please Do Not make this Your First Choice even if it’s One of the Zoned Schools in Your Area.
I have been in this school for a 2 years and this school is just…bad. to start the students have no home training they act like wild dogs and bully is very high in the school alot them stink and don’t have physical and dental hygiene. Also they participate in smoking drug use and drinking.next is the teacher though not all teacher are bad a majority of them are, one teacher I delt with is very disrespectful calling kids stupid and dumb filling tables and even yelling in student face he has no control of his own actions which is reflex in are grades as a student with learning issues I often can’t even understand the martial I’m learing and he doesn’t help at all. Finally the school staff and just in general. The school is very dirty there pee on the stair well and the lunch room is disgusting.staff is rude and treat students unfarily and abuse their authority. School counselor are NOT safe spaces and every since I gone here my mental health has declined
horrible, fights every week, principal constantly busy, annoying hall monitor, horrible parent cordinator, multiple situations and nothing done about it, teachers are caring and funny, some getting away with things they should not, good majors and school events. dont come to this school if you dont want your child coming home angry, or having a swollen face. do come to this school if you are a stupid parent.
