I am so disappointed with his school for my preschooler! What of time, money, and gas to drive to this location for school for my son. I read a review earlier that is absolutely correct if your child needs extra help don’t even bother coming to this school. EVERYDAY since we have started this school year I have received a note my son was having a “hard day” My son is a child of color and I noticed his behavior was changing since being enrolled he would constantly nit pick and constantly tell me my teacher said we can’t…we can’t…we can’t… It was never anything positive. Than instead of getting notes I get phone calls,,, Deion won’t pick up the blocks. Just petty calls that they can’t control their children in the classroom and I was told she just reaches discipline isn’t part of what she does. EXCUSE ME it is especially at a young age they need positive discipline just as he gets at home. This was a sorry excuse for a preschool never again no I would never recommend this school to anyone!
Still having growing pains after three years. All staff new again this year. Resource and psychologist over the special education program do not prioritize kids that need additional services. Title I school but say they don’t receive enough funds to properly service those that need more services. Generally ok for our mainstream child but activities are limited due to smaller school size in upper grades that were just added this year. Should have staggered pickup and drop-off times or buses due to 30min driveline pickups on average. No summer school offerings. Super expensive extra curricular activities. Limited tutoring.
Rare school events. Horrible for our special needs child.
We’ve just completed enrollment & my son has been accepted for Kinder! We haven’t even began the school year yet & we are already so impressed with the staff! So professional & organized! Special Thanks to Ms. Katelyn Sanders at Peoria for the extra attention & time she took to explain everything! Can’t wait for 2018-2019 Let’s go Pumas!
