Almost every teacher except a few are great (there is always that small handful of teachers who suck), there is a vast amount of electives that are sure to keep you entertained and engaged, and the school is very nice compared to all of the middle schools I’ve visited/ seen. It does however lose one star because the school food isn’t the best (I should expect that since it’s a typical school lunch), but the lunch ladies are very friendly and you can tell that they want to make sure you enjoy the lunch they provide for you. As a current eight grader and soon to be high schooler, I’ve enjoyed my experience here greatly and recommend this place for any parents looking for a great middle school for their kids to go through and grow up in.
I attend martin middle school, and I honestly think it is a great system! They do things differently than any other school I know. I first came to Martin in the 6th grade during the middle of the first quarter and my grades were terrible because I was coming from Carnage middle (not saying that’s a bad school, but not right for me). The teachers all taught differently and my grades started to pull up. Another thing is we have pretty cool principals and teachers there, but the only thing I could think negative about martin is that the building is too big to have only 4 minutes in between class change !
