I’m a student here and I’m about to leave year. 11 I wish I had stayed at my old school as I got tested for dyslexia at the hospital for my old school so I could then be given a reader and extra help. But I moved and joined UTC in year 10 in 2021 and was told they would help me and my dyslexia and get tested to see if I need a reader and laptop but I’ve never been tested for any of them and I’ve constantly asked if I can have a reader like I did at my previous school but Lincoln utc just constantly say I don’t qualify for one or need it. But when I read I can’t pick out the details I need for the questions like I can when someone is reading it to me. And I struggle and when I ask for help in maths the deputy head teacher Mr Hamer tells me to stop being lazy and just do the work and stop trying to get others to do it for me.they only really help if your autistic or someone who doesn’t have dyslexia.
best school in Lincoln , all the teachers are friendly and nice. the school is very supportive while you need help. MR marshall is the best TA teacher in the school.
amazingly good school, I attend Lincoln UTC and after three weeks of attending i have seen the true potential of students, the school reveals the good sides in every student good and bad. Highly recommend only bad thing is its difficult to get too due to the location however it is definitely worth while. Excited to spend a good chunk of my life here. People review the school negatively due to the fact them or there children have been removed from the school from not meting the high standard but the standard is so important of separating this school from every other and making it so amazing to attend. Update:
I am now in year 11 and hoping to go onto sixth form and i hope this ensures to many of you that this school truly lives up to the expectations and exceeds them in most cases wish students which are removed from the school would refrain from down voting such an amazing opportunity for those that chose UTC as their school of choice.

I believe that Lincoln UTC is a great school for education, the staff are really helpful and supportive of their students. The level of engineering and science is way above the standard level that a normal school has like my old school ‘De Aston’. However every school has their own advantages and disadvantages, the location can be difficult for people but it’s worth the travel. If you are thinking of going to this school it’s great idea to give it a go or visit.
I cannot rate this school highly enough. I have absolutely loved my last 3 years working here. It’s such a positive environment filled with wonderful staff and students. I love what the UTC is about and would recommend it to anyone.
