Not a good place to go seek for job. I was there for an interview with 3 woman who rate my experience high and deemed me fit for the children’s residential job. They told me I’ll receive a call from there HR manager in 5 days or I should call back if nobody calls. I called them for months. They kept pushing me back and forth and kept promising me I’ll be hired. Only for the adult residential manager to tell me I don’t have American equivalent for a high school diploma. You kidding me? I have a BSC in Biology from one of the best colleges in Africa. Linwood’s requirement is only high school diploma. For almost 5 months I’m yet to receive a call. They gave the job to an American. Thanks to the assistance Hr manager who tried to help..
The Linwood Center’s attempt at education is doing the state required minimum, while paying staff an unlivable wage, and simultaneously filling the pockets of its board members. The staff is expected to climb mountains while being held underwater. They are building a new school but until that happens anywhere else would be a better option. The current facilities are old and dilapidated mirroring the management of the school.
They are openly discriminative towards their colored workers. Not supporting a school that doesnt believe in equal rights ???????
