I just had one of the worse experiences there could be with this daycare, I had been asking not to let me 2 yr old be in the class with the kids 5 and over! For weeks!!!! They kept saying oh she is really small but she can hold her own she dont take no stuff from nobody!! Like how do you say that to a parent so you are letting me know that the bigger kids mess with her she just defends her self??!?!?? Why would I want to hear that about my child at TWO YEARS OLD! So to 2/27/24 my husband take my kids to school it slipped my mind to tell him dont take her in mr. Jordens class, as soon as her drop her off he levels and was looking into the window at my two year old! Mr Jorden had never moved from his seat to sit my baby down at the table with the other kids!! The bigger kids (4-5) ran up on my baby pulling at her coat pulling at her hood mr. Jorden still did not move, my husband ran back into the building to tell mrs lisle the director can you please go get the bigger kids off of my child! My husband called and I called the daycare and Mrs lisle answered the phone! I was explaining to her for that very reason this is why I dont want my baby in there with the Bigger kids! I was telling her what my husband told me he SAW WITH HIS OWN EYES!! And she was telling me that he was lying!! Like why would he lie about that! As Im talking she is trying to continue to talk over me and it was really annoying me so yes I did get loud with her, she just kept saying well she is small but she really hold her own! That is not what I send my child to daycare to have to defined her self all day from bigger kids! I then go to pick my daughter up, Mrs lisle and another lady not sure who she was she never introduced her self. The first thing she said was Mrs lisle called me and she wasnt happy how the situation went this morning! Disregarding that there teacher Mr Jorden wasnt doing his job, and how we need to have a good relationship with our director! I said yes you are right but how can I have a good relationship with her when she lies for no reason? The lady then asked well do you think this is a good for for you? As Im starting to speak she cut me off and say well we dont think this is a good fit! She was extremely snappy she was talking with an attitude! Me and my husband then walked out the room to go get our child, she then said yes make this their last day! I was walking to get my baby she was walking behind me saying yes this is going to be there last day with a smart snippy attitude. Me and my husband was just saying to each other like this is extremely crazy!! She then turned to Mrs lisle and said call the police!!! The police for what we hadnt done ANYTHING TO HER!! I was about to open the door to the class room she then bum rushed me and hopped in front of me with so much aggression telling me I could not go in the class she went in the class and I was right behind her and she was shoving the door on my foot telling me I could not get my child. Yes that pissed me off and I lost my cool what mom wouldnt? That was the most disgusting thing I had EVER been through! With these people! They lie the never tell the full truth on what happen with your children, the give half stories on what happen if your child is hurt, there new teachers dont change the babies how they are supposed to!! I have picked my baby up serval times and she is extremely soaked or her nose is so nasty!! When I asked no one NEVER knows a thing!!
Our daughter has been going there since she was 4 months old. Shes almost two now and we love Little Learners! The teachers care about your kids as much as you do and share in the excitement when they hit a milestone ( like rolling over or walking). The daily pictures and activity summary on the app are great features and make me feel confident in the excellent care she is receiving. I love all the art projects they send home. As a working mom, I know shes getting to do tons of activities that I would be scared to try, like painting on an easel! I really enjoy the parent-teacher conferences. Its a great opportunity to get some 1 on 1 time with the teacher which we appreciate. I would highly recommend Little Learners to any family!
My daughter attended Little Learners in Crest Hill for a little over a year and she enjoyed everyday of it. Starting with Ms.Leslie and Ms.Balquees they were always very welcoming and professional! The teachers that I interacted more was Mr.Jordan and Ms.Alexis and they are truly the most down to earth people who really show that they love what they do! I had my daughter attend another daycare before and lets just say she didn’t do so well but when enrolling her to little learners they reassured me that they will make her experience amazing which they did if not more. I would definitely recommend Little Learners in Crest Hill all the staff are amazing! Thank you Little Learners for everything you do! ??
