This school sounds absolutely amazing! I was referred to them by an at-home Montessori provider who is no longer open due to covid. I spoke to Katie and wow, much different experience than the first school I tried signing my son up at on the big island. She made the process easy, transparent and was very honest with me. We discussed our expectations on the initial call and she even took the time to talk to me about my concerns and my son. She directed me to the paperwork and once completed, sent me a link to pay the last months tuition to reserve my sons spot for August. This is the only school that I have seen which doesn’t charge a registration/Admin fee and can tell she really cared about her kids there. Just talking to her on the phone, I could tell she had a aire of kindness about her that just made me trust bringing my son here. I haven’t been able to meet her yet because we are still on the mainland until August but I am confident that the experience will be amazing! and they also have a stewardship conservation effort with Little Monk Seals out in Maui. How cool a school!!!!! and aerial classes??!!! Mommy and me Yoga!!! I can’t wait! We are so excited to move out there now again and I owe it to Katie for making this so easy. My sons school is more of a priority to me than where we live and this has been my challenge looking for a place to move in Hawaii. I am so glad the other school I was looking at on the big island turned into such a disappointment because had it not, I would of never met Katie and found Little Monk Seals Montessori. I am SOOOOOO EXCITED for my son to start here, I can’t wait and neither can he!

I cannot say enough good things about this school! We sent my son for the last 2 years and were so impressed with how much he learned and grew. This school made my kid so excited to learn and had him coming home teaching me things about science I didn’t even know! There is nothing better than feeling like your child is safe and supported. Miss Katie and Miss Joy are incredible teachers. They foster independence in the kids while being super encouraging. This whole experience has brought so much joy to my son and to our family who has made som many lifelong family friends through this wonderful school. So sad to say goodbye to these amazing teachers, but feeling so confident that he is moving into elementary school more than ready and prepared! I love little monk seal and cannot recommend it enough.
