Coming out of Covid, my son was suffering from severe social anxiety and having aggressive meltdowns. We tried two other preschools, but they were not able to give him the support he needed. With Kindergarten around the corner, we were in a really difficult spot. Thankfully we found Little Thinkers Montessori. Miss Lily and the teachers were so patient with him. She was very accommodating and worked in union with my husband and I, as well as our sons therapists. When he was feeling overwhelmed, Miss Lily would give him one on one attention and allow him some alone time to do sensory friendly activities that she knew would be calming. After just a few weeks we saw major improvements in his behavior and ability to communicate his feelings at school and at home. Now, he looks forward to going to school and seeing his friends. He follows the class routine and is able to make it through a full school day without issues. I cant thank Miss Lily and the staff enough for the care they provided for my little guy! I have no doubt he will be successful when he starts Kindergarten in the fall.
Our son started at LTM when he was 6 months old. Hes been there for a year and has enjoyed every aspect of the school. The teachers are patient and kind and Miss Lily plans tons of activities each week. Our son has blossomed just by engaging in peer-to-peer programs. They are great about providing daily feedback on food, mood, and any challenges. Also, the schools hours are so accommodating for our dual-working parent household. Hes transitioned to the next room so smoothly: ie. Group lunch and naps. The playground and garden are some of his favorite places to frequent. Even their holiday programs are so wonderful. Its a great community of teachers and families. We feel lucky to be able to a part of LTM.
