I had many terrible experiences but the main experience that was the final straw and gave me the push to removed my children from the preschool was after a spring break my children were set to return to the facility. Due to the covid 19 pandemic being over my childrens doctors office was no longer offering covid test and all local test stations have been closed. I missed two days of work. After requesting to bring a home test and have my children tested in-front of staff and being told no I finally was allowed to have my children test in-front of staff. Once my children tested negative they were allowed to return. I thought everything was going to be ok until the next day was picture day and although I had paid for the pictures previously my son was prepared to take pictures. I requested my son not take pictures as he wasn’t prepared I requested a refund. The staff ( owner Ms.Tyesha) completely disregarded my request and had my son sit for the pictures. I never received a refund or my son’s pictures. I then decided that at this point I no longer was happy with the services provided I put in a two week notice. I usually dont check my emails on the weekends but I received an email Monday morning from Tyesha stated she dismissed my children from the facility. No notice prior to the email no phone call no discussion. My assumption is she was upset about the two week notice. The lack of professionalism that I received the few short months my children attended this facility would make me give a rating of one star overall. I still have yet to receive my refund or photos its been 3 months.

My granddaughter has been with Live Learn Laugh preschool since a little before she was 2 years old and is now 8! Ms Tyesha has become family, she has nurtured and loved my granddaughter. The reading skills, the correct handwriting, the confidence, and overall well being of my granddaughter has blossomed. Tyesha( owner/ director) is hands on with her students, to ensure they are leaving her care prepared. The staff has the students enthused to attend school every day, and leaves the parents feeling safe. There are rules that have to be followed, but always for what is best for the children. During Covid it was great to have a place for her to physically go in person in a healthy learning environment, versus an online learning. Tyesha herself made sure all the children and families were safe by developing safety protocols to ensure she could remain open for her families needs. My grand baby has graduated, and still every summer attends Tyesha’s summer sessions, she’s excited to be a helper to the younger kids, to give back, and to have fun on field trips and summer learning with Ms Tyesha. If you are looking for a family feel, nurturing, preschool for your little one, support this small black owned business.

Absolutely love Live Learn and Laugh Daycare! I’m a first time mom so I was really skeptical about sending my baby off to school so the only right choice for me was to send her to the same school her cousins went to. I am so happy with my choice my daughter loves coming to school and playing with the other littles. The staff is absolutely amazing, my daughter is really comfortable with them and that makes me feel 100x more confident I made the right choice. I have noticed a big difference in my daughter’s speech improving, being able to use the restroom like a big girl, being able to express herself more clearly and getting better with her ABCs numbers and so much more. The way they engage with the children keeps my daughter excited to return and eager to learn and excited to turn in her little homework that they give weekly lol. If you are looking for a safe and fun school where your child is able to grow and learn I would highly recommend!!!
