I no longer am aware how long I have attended this school… weeks blend into months which blend into years. I have many emotions towards this school, not all of them are good, but I will try my best to convey all my feelings in writing. I will say, if you are looking for a good education then this is the place to go. Live Oak has managed to acquire many fantastic men and women here to be teachers. Whether it is Mr. Jeffrey and his fabulous sighs or Dr. Davis massaging the factors, the teachers are some of the best people I have ever met and I am grateful that I was able to learn from them. Unfortunately that is pretty much where the good ends. This school will make sure you suffer in countless ways. There are so many frivolous and petty grievances that administration will find with you that will make your jaw drop at how unnecessary they are. They will make it a herculean effort to fight through their pointless rules in order to benefit from the magnificent education they offer. Live Oak is not for the faint of heart because they will crush all the willpower out of you and make you want to leave. It is a shame that this education must be paired with this oppressive way of administration. Another problem I have with this school is how hard they try to shove Christianity down your throat. Whether it is through forced religion classes or a laughable chapel where almost everyone is asleep, it does more to push you away from faith then draw you towards it. There is no room for any set of views at Live Oak that do not align with Christianity. Even with all these issues, I feel the quality of the education and the magnificent student-teacher culture outweigh the bad. However if you decide to send your child here, you need to be there for him because the administration will most likely get to him and cause him grief. Make sure to have conversations with your child so he will continue to be open minded and think for himself instead of falling for the christian indoctrination they will try and impose on him. I am not saying these views are bad, but mindlessly believing them is a horrible state to be in. With this i conclude my assessment of this school.

We chose Live Oak Classical School 11 years ago to educate our children. We had no idea then what a huge impact this would have on our then growing family. This school not only provides our children an enriching and stimulating learning environment but also provides a nurturing, encouraging and positive atomsphere for emotional and social growth. The faculty, staff, and parents are very friendly and welcoming to all. The students are receiving a stellar academic education in a loving environment coupled with high expectations of personal responsibility. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for quality academics paired with a Christian education.

A cousin of mine teaches at this school. The fact is that he’s an Ivy League educated, caring man, who does his best to educate every student with wisdom and compassion.

Pay no attention to 1-star reviewers who know nothing about the school outside of what was likely a careless accident and want to manufacture a false scenario to take umbrage for on the internet.

This school is doing a fine job educating and creating a loving environment for every student.
