I have never dealt with a school district that allows bullying from student to student and teacher to student like this one does. If your child is assaulted they are the ones that get punished not the one who does the assaulting. Most of the teachers and administration do not know how to deal with children that are smarter then them and it intimidates them. When a teacher is allowed to tell a child that they do not want them in their class they should not even be an educator or the principle in a round about way tells you that your child needs to go to a thug school instead of theirs and again if you are intimidated by a child that you know is smarter then you get another job. You should be helping these children become all that they can and not worry that they might take your low paying job. Your teachers need to get up off their lazy tail ends and give these children more stimulating work for them. I will have to give props to Mr. Hamilton who seems to know how to work with children that are ADD or ADHD. This school needs more teachers like him that take an interest in his students and their needs.

This place is a huge upgrade and a welcome change from the schools my child used to attend. The school grounds are very well kept, the area looks and smells clean, and the staff and courteous and hard working. For years, I had been pleading with the people at all the previous schools my child attended about advancing her but I always got smoke blown in my face. Everyone was either ignorant of the system, afraid to make changes, or simply didn’t want to do the work. But when I approached the faculty at Live Oaks about the issue, they wasted no time getting everything set up. Principle Stidom and the rest of the staff did everything they could do fulfill our request. My child took the tests and passed with flying colors. Now my child is doing great with her new schedule and enjoying the teachers and experience she has at school. I was worried when I saw the reviews for this school. Based on my child’s experience there, this school really is great.

so many thieves…I know the school does not have nothing to do with the student’s behavior and it is mostly coming from home. The teachers and the school staff are there to support the children’s behavior and correct it or at least help them realize that stealing is wrong. My daughter loss her Ipod someone took it from her pocket and no one bother to return it. I called the school and the front desk said “oh Mr so and so already got notify and they are doing the best they can to resolve the problem” and nothing happen!
