If you want your child to succeed, don’t send them here. They have teachers that get little to no support. They discriminate againts all white students. They follow their student handbook only when it benefits their purposes and ignore it all other times. The classrooms are cramped and the teachers over worked. Shoving 25+ students into an old hallway and calling it a classroom is not safe. The superintendent only cares about putting more bodies in the building to get more money to spend on his precious gym. (Screw the fact that their curriculum is outdated and the teachers are forced to teach lessons from Pinterest.)

Do yourself a favor and research other schools in the area.

They passed my child with As and Bs through 2nd grade and on to 3rd grade even though he tested a 1.2 on the star reading assessment in 3rd grade! The teacher ignored my concerns about his anxiety around reading. They failed my child. We moved to amherst and he’s doing much better but still behind. Thankfully Amherst listened to me!
Hopefully one of these evenings they’ll turn off that damn sign in front. Its so bright that we, along with other neighbors have to put blankets over the windows because it lights up our houses.
