As a local resident, we find the staff and students of Loretto to be respectful. However, please remember to turn off your sirens for start of classes, breaks and end of day. We tolerate hearing them during school days but please disable them when no students are on campus. It’s extremely frustrating to hear them go off all day, on Easter Monday, just because someone forgot to turn them off during school holidays.
the behaviour from loreto students on the 184 after school is absolutely disgusting. it’s very weird to me that the school presents itself as such a refined and well-cultured place and yet its students are consistently incredibly immature and have little regard for those around them
So much pressure!! Environment was suffocating and detrimental for my mental health. Talks about mental health were far too little and far too late. By the end of year 12, all the previously top-of-the-class students were mentally destroyed. I feel as though I witnessed the downfall of so many people before my eyes. I witnessed a lot of depression, anxiety and anorexia (and more!) first hand without realising as I had no knowledge of mental health or how to support these people.
The education quality and teachers are great, however at a major cost to my well-being I have yet to overcome
(Fake name for obvious reasons)
I love some of my teachers like they are rlly nice and undertanding, but some are wacko, like where are they finding these people and why are they leaving them alone with children.
Great school – just the right size. Lots of opportunities academically and for sports. They have a great water polo program
