Excellent school. It has been making remarkable progress since its opening only 4 years ago. School management has been very pro-active in addressing the comments brought forward by the inspection and parents, in particular in respect of the academic programme. The children are very happy at the school and parents get regular feed-back on the progress their children make. The bilingual programme has settled in well. As a final comment, this school beats any other school we have ever sent our children to in terms of parent engagement.
We have travelled the world as a family and our kids have been in at least 5 different French school. This is by far the best we have encountered. School has managed to pull up a great project in only four years. Kids are thriving both academically and personally. We have been here from the start in 2015 and are amazed by the results.
PROS ET BIENVEILLANTS: My boys love the place and are happy to go to school. Both admin and teachers are very professional and with a genuine attention to their well-being. I highly recommend this school, certainly the best my kids ever went to.
A wonderful school for all ages, with a dedicated and joyful staff who go out of their way to see the students thrive and succeed. Only open for four years and it has gone from strength to strength. Kids are challenged AND happy, and enjoy the best possible educational environment.
I’ve given five stars, but with a few reservations.

Where I think the school excels is culture. Helping to foster bright, capable, confident, bilingual children in a caring environment. I haven’t seen any of the endless pressure for instance that you get in many british private schools, nor the dogmatic adherence to first principles that you see in french schools. 5/5.

I really think this is rare in a school, and should be considered for your kid simply because of this: they’ll come out as well rounded young adults.

On exam results, they’re doing really well given it’s only been going a few years – and last years bac results have been excellent. Kids have been accepted at a wide range of top universities, the only exception being oxbridge – but that will change over time. I’d say 4/5 for this, and rising.

Where they haven’t been doing so well oddly is communications with the parents, which may have led to some of the reviews here and unhappiness in parents (not necessarily kids). Some of this has been over money and fees for the school. They have taken great steps to improve this over the last year and have made great progress, but still some to come. I’d say 3/5 for this but rising.

Overall, you’ve got to choose the school that’s right for your child(ren). But I would definitely recommend visiting LIL, and feel assured that every child is cared for, nurtured, pushed, and supported here.
