Ok, look, I am a student athlete that currently attends Goff Middle School and I have to say it is one of the worst schools you can attend in Rhode Island, the teachers are too hard on their students, some overload them with work, and will give detention for doing absolutely nothing. I take my education seriously as I want to become a professional athlete when I grow up, unfortunately this school isn’t helping me with my goal. There are a few teachers that respect their students and care for them, but as of the rest, they can’t see anything more then skin colored blobs sitting in their room wasting their time. If you are a parent that is thinking on moving to Pawtucket, please just make sure you have money for Private Schools, because the Pawtucket Public School System is terrible, one of the worst in Rhode Island. They slack when it comes to serious matters with their students, neither does it seem they care, thank you for taking your time reading this if you have done so.
After three years at Goff, I can safely say it wasn’t the best school. I think three out of five stars is a fair rating, seeing as there were a lot of ups and downs. Some teachers couldn’t control their classes, though that was enjoyable for us students. I couldn’t understand how to do something after not paying attention at first, but about thirty times later and I still didn’t understand. I saw five star ratings on here and I’m just not buying it, so here’s a short review.
This place needs a re-do I mean it is messy I found mold on a roof, exposed pipes, someone could get hurt. And the lockers are scratched, and the schools colors are dull… Looks more like a prison then a school… Just re-do the whole school, please!
