LYRIQ is an absolutely wonderful music school. We have our two oldest daughters (9yo/8yo) enrolled in piano lessons with Ms Amber who is incredible. We love her adaptability and willingness to engage with our two (very) different girls and the way they learn. Our youngest (3yo) has also participated in beginner music group classes and had a blast. Sarah Ma, who operates LYRIQ, is a lovely human being who is easily communicative and supportive. I was so encouraged by watching our children learn that I (40yo) was motivated to enroll in lessons, too, and began the arduous task of learning violin. Sam Sharp is a marvelous, patient, and kind teacher. He is knowledgable and teaches, talks and models music with genuine love and affection. He is also the best violinist I have ever known in my life. I can truthfully say that Sam, Amber, and LYRIQ, have completely changed my life.
I heard rave reviews about Lyriq from our friends whose son is the same age as our daughter and started taking piano lessons this year. We bought our daughter a trial 4-pack lessons for her birthday since she wanted to try out both piano and guitar. It was a great way for her to get a feel for the teachers and the instruments. Sarah and her team have been welcoming and a pleasure to work with! Shes been great coordinating schedules and matching our daughter with a wonderful teacher, Mr. Evan. Although our daughter did like both piano and guitar , she ultimately chose piano and has been enjoying learning it so far! Also, the school is a beautiful space, clean, and well maintained. Weve felt comfortable participating in in-person lessons and look forward to continuing through the school year.
LYRIQ is fantastic! For anyone interested in learning an instrument or more about music in general finding a better option will be very difficult. Sarah, who runs the school is professional, kind, and takes great care to ensure the students and anyone interested in a student’s progress has a great experience. My 7 year old daughter takes piano from Jacob Adams who is excellent! He displays great patience and encouragement with her and it is sincerely appreciated…. After a long layoff from musical study, I’ve as recently as of this writing begun a music theory course with Anne Gallery and I am already happy to have signed up as it is already paying dividends after one session! LYRIQ is an excellent local option for those interested in learning music!
