Horrible school system. I was in a desperate struggle and time of need while I was there as I had a rough home life and was seeking help at school and the school staff treated me like I was crazy. The majority of the students are very snobby as most of their parents are rich and spoil them with everything so they are very entitled and have their noses up in the air. I noticed a LOT of bullying going on at school, including towards me, and when I reported things, they didn’t do much. The PTO moms have monthly meetings where they discuss the drama among students throughout the school….which is ridiculous in itself, and on top of that I didn’t get a great education there either. The whole school is a joke. I had a horrible experience there growing up and I wouldn’t dare send a child there. If you’re thinking of sending your child there, DO NOT. I transferred to Madison Central and it was the BEST decision my parents and I ever made. The curriculum was a million times better, the variety of students were WAY more open armed and accepting, and the principals were on top of things when it came to bullies and disputes. I loved Madison Central…I would 10/10 recommend them. But sending your child to this private school paying thousands of dollars a year for the pathetic little community they’ve created…you’re wasting your money.
i went to this school from k4 till 5th grade and most of the teachers there were mean and wouldn’t help you if you needed help. Especially ms. brown the art teacher for the elementary one time she grabbed a kid by his collar and pushed him into a wall because he asked to go to the bathroom. Majority of the kids there were snobby rich kids whose parents spoiled them rotten and most of those kids were bullies too. So i would not suggest sending your kid to school there instead send them to J.A or J.P or even madison middle because those places are a better school environment and have better kids.
This is where it’s at. Teachers that love their kids. Those friendly welcomes when you walk in with a question. Any employee willing to stop what they are doing to help you. A Headmaster that is simply never satisfied with “good enough” for all the right reasons. These people are focused on one thing: Giving these kids everything they’ve got for two semesters, every year. Staff is endlessly creating ways for kids to have experiential learning as well as memory building events. They really do bend over backwards. Worth every penny. 10/10
