As a mother and having my daughter go into year 7 next year, I naturally look at the feedback to see what school will be helping shape my children with their learning but also their wellbeing emotionally and physically. I rang the office this morning in my up beat voice that my daughter is heading into year 7 next year and I remember there would be a information night but I couldn’t see it on our schools newsletter app. The older receptionist woman rudely and abruptly chastised myself why didn’t we have a look on the grossman Facebook page? Then rudely said she hasn’t been accepted how do you know they are coming here! I politely had to tell the rude woman for a 3rd time that we are zoned. She didn’t believe me and asked for my address. Then said what do you need to know??! Now for a school that has a high negative reputation you have now confirmed this. If this it was your front door looks like I would hate to imagine what the other side is like. So heavily disappointed. Pull your socks up and do better! I will be fighting for my child to attend somewhere else. I tried to not have a bias opinion though this first impression is the last impression for our little family.
Extremely sad to read the news about a teacher pleaded guilty for assault a BAD behaviour student in his classroom. Bad behaviour student making teachers hard to do their jobs, and hard for other students to focus and learn.
Teachers should be protected and respected.
There are too many bureaucrats in our society that promote freedom without responsibility too. Sad future !!
If you hate your kids, would like to send them to a school that will be sure to make your child suicidal, and would also like to have teachers verbally and physically harass your children, maitland grossmann high school is a perfect fit for your needs.
Maitland is full of deros so this school wouldn’t be much different
Very Cool School, enjoyed many good times there Really do recommend this school, as it has many good teachers, decent food, and a leadership course named the SRC. it is definitely a 4/5 here.
