My son has been going to MMPS for a number of year and I am happy with the fact that my child is happy. He went to a number of state schools previously where he was not happy. Now i can send him to a school where i know he will be safe and he will not be bullied. When he comes home i do not have to send him to mosque to learn Quran, rather we can do homework which is a lot more than state school. I wish the fees were less and more extra curricular activities nonetheless i am very happy with his learning and social skills and manners towards other. I know he will be upset if he was to leave the school.
My son attends this school and Insh’Allah so will my daughter. I think the staff and facilities are very good. This is still a very young school and I feel that it is continually getting better. My son used to attend a long established grammar school and I feel they are very comparable, however, here my son learns about Islamic values.
The education is extremely poor at this school. They expect the parents to do the heavylifting. There is so much homework given its as if my child is not being taught at school but in fact the parent is doing all the teaching at home. It was as if I was homeschooling my children. When I eventually put my kids in another school they were shocked at the level of education. My kids were so far behind. It took over 2 years to reverse the damage done by this school. Inexperienced Headteacher – not qualified, incompetent at best Teachers are not qualifed – private schools dont have to hire qualified staff. Health and safety issues – my children always came home with bruises and unsatisfactory explanations. My kids were being taught an extreme form of islam called Wahabism / Salafism. Kids are being taught these extremist views. There is a reason why Salafism only accounts for approx 3% of muslims. Unqualified people running schools
My wife and I were shocked at some of the malicious comments posted on this page. Our 4 children attended this school and we have no complaints. We are both doctors and rate education highly, However , we rate a safe, Islamic and caring environment even more highly and this is undoubtedly what this school offers above all. Our children attended over 18 years and are all now doing well MashAllah in their university education and secondary school educations. More importantly, they are well rounded British citizens. I would never risk my childrens safety and can honestly say that we had no concerns whiel they were at MMPS. Mrs Ali is a wonderful and compassionate head. I suspect the disgruntled comments made by others were due to personality clashes and unrealistic expectations gone wrong.
Excellent school! Amalgamates Islamic teachings with British values and what it means to be a good British Muslim. Encourages children to look after their family, neighbours and external community through charity and voluntary work
