I was a student at Manor Hall for grade 9, and it was horrible! The teachers kept changing, especially for English, and we didn’t have a Biology teacher for months! For Grade 10, I returned to Manor Hall, but everything was chaotic. They didn’t have classrooms or classes for students, and all they cared about was electives. Everything was different: the entire management had changed, with different principals and rules. I decided that I didn’t want to attend MHIS anymore. So I went to American National School, and it was so much more welcoming and inviting; all the teachers are amazing. As an American who has attended many schools in Al Ain, I definitely DO NOT recommend Manor Hall International School. There are no AP classes, the students are rude, the management is careless, and the environment is unwelcoming. In English class, they didn’t teach anything and just made us do Achieve 3000 every day! Manor Hall is the worst school; I do not recommend this school to anyone! Manor Hall doesn’t care about the students: at break, they just make you sit outside in the summer heat!
I am extremely pleased with my children’s experience at this school. The dedicated staff, excellent curriculum, and nurturing environment have greatly contributed to their academic and personal growth. I highly recommend this school to parents looking for a top-notch education for their children.
My son is in KG1 at MHIS, and our experience has been pleasant. There are many interactive learning opportunities, and all aspects of learning are addressed. My son loves his teacher and is excited to go to school every morning. Additionally, the school organizes various events, such as Splash Days, school concerts, field trips, and his favorite, science experiments!
My child started as a freshman this year. Overall, he adores the teachers and the methods they use in class to help their students understand the lessons. Elio loves Ms. Farzanah’s teaching methods and is excited to see what she is preparing daily. We also appreciate the support and help he is getting from Ms. Miranda in math and science. Honestly, I’m happy I registered my son at Manor Hall School because it is the right choice if you want your child to build up his knowledge and education.
In addition, I would like to thank Ms. Siham for her support; she is the best in her field.
Worst school ever! I just joined and I can’t wait to graduate and leave. The teachers don’t know how to explain things because they can’t keep the students quiet. Everyone shouts, and the teachers can’t do anything about it. There’s no respect or discipline here. At break, we are forced to be outside in 42-degree heat, and afterward, we are forced to do PE outside. There are so many guys out there, and as a Hijabi, it’s hot and difficult. No one cares about the students, and I would never recommend this school to anyone. The teachers keep changing, and they give grades to people who don’t even work, which is unfair to everyone else.
I had the privilege of serving as IT Support at Manor Hall School in Al Ain from 2019 to 2022. I truly enjoyed my tenure with the Manor Hall family.
Here are some notable observations:
**Merits:**
1. The students are well-disciplined, and many are passionate about technology, which is commendable.
2. The working environment is friendly and characterized by mutual respect.
3. The school ensures 100% American English speaking and cultural practices on campus.
4. There are no restrictions on parents or staff communicating directly with management or the school, allowing parents to tailor their children’s educational needs.
5. The infrastructure is excellent and well-maintained.
6. The management, including Mr. Khalil and Ms. Hala, is very kind and approachable.
7. The school management is up-to-date with the latest technology, ensuring that students receive a top-notch education.
**Suggestions and Recommendations for the School Management:**
1. Introduce unique technological courses as electives. For instance, we offered an introduction to robotics, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi in the IT support elective during the 2019–2020 academic year. Students showed potential and interest in such subjects, and the future of the UAE and the world is increasingly technology-driven.
2. Conduct regular annual evaluations of staff quality.
Overall, Manor Hall School provides a remarkable environment for both students and staff, fostering growth and development through a robust support system and modern infrastructure.
I worked at Manor Hall International School for two years, from 2011 to 2013. The owners were very pleasant, and the staff became family. The children taught me a lot, and I loved them dearly. They will continue to thrive in a very challenging sector as long as the owners stay informed.
God bless them,
