I attended this school in the 80’s and now my own children attend this school. I can say it has changed drastically since the 80’s. It has had a lot regeneration and renovation. The teachers are amazing and very supportive and the pupils get on really well. The school has good policies in place. My children are thriving in this school and are very happy.
I supplied here a few years ago. I really liked the school, so I used to make the 40 minute transit trip, until they messed up their bookings and sent me home after realizing they booked in too many teachers. I was already in the class set up, when, another sub from my agency arrived after me and got the job because he was better known by the school. I was absolutely humiliated and never went back. I lost an entire day’s pay, the school didn’t even compensate me anything and my agency couldn’t help, since, they fear losing the school.
Rude grumpy lady at reception and some of the more senior admin dont seem much better, nice Nursery Teachers and my daughter loves it. Such a shame the first person i see has to be the grumpy lady who seems always in a bad mood.
It is a really good school. I had my brother in there and he told me it was great but some teachers are not very friendly.
I go Bow secondary school now, I’m in yr 8 and I just wanted to say how amazing the school is.The teachers and staff are REALY kind and I’m super glad that was able to be part of their wonderful community
