As a trainee teacher placed here for the first weeks of my PGCE, I can say that majority of the teaching and support staff here are excellent. However, as a trainee without any prior classroom experience, I was left in charge of a Year 1 and Year 2 class in my first week (and subsequently every week) without a chance to develop knowledge of school policies, procedures or practices and this left a long lasting negative impression of my time here.
Don’t even consider sending your children there ever . they have a clown teacher for year 6 and a Leprechaun for a head .This school is going down hill since this Leprechaun taking over . the so call teaching assistance are all bullies shouting at the children and saying things that damage their self esteem and NOT build up beliefs about their own worth
It is an amazing school and their teaching is the best they help their students and there self esteem grows as they learn!
Unfortunately it Danes that with another new headmistress comes more changes unsettling the school pupils and parents .. the school is taking a draconian style ruling at the moment .. parents evening is now a craft afternoon where you have 5 minutes but only first come first served ,, this is ridiculous and needs looking into be offstead and CQC ,, what right has a school got to turn an important situation into a farce ,, 6 year olds cannot go to toilet ,, Wobblies for not singing with threats of teachers of no birthday song on their birthday ,, threats of Wobblies for the children thinking about writing,, wanting to isolate 6 year old children for minor learning situations,, calling children greedy for asking for a biscuit at a Christmas party ,, accusing children of been liars if they tell their parents ,, only bothers about attendance but not if a child has medical difficulties,, I have compiled information which I will be sending to education as this has gone from a ridiculous schooling to damn right wrong and pathetic ,, is this a poor house or prison ,, juvenile delinquent centre no it’s a primary school ,, children are getting frightened stressed and confused and parents want to know in the for of PARENTS EVENING what’s going on in the SCHOOL
Is a good place to be if your good
