Loved attending this school even if it wasn’t the whole 5-year high school experience. I went here for my junior years before having to switch. Got along with the teachers pretty well and the learning space was positive for me! Ms Flynn is the best English teacher ever trust me. She taught me so much and enabled me to excel in my assessments because of her learning techniques. Mrs Goulding was my first science teacher and she was such a fun yet skilful science teacher. And of course, my favs, Miss Post and Miss Shae, AKA Mrs Lawson. Always made PE fun even if my energy was drained.

Sport at Marian was such a blast, Mrs Bennie was always running across to get to classrooms to inform us of sports notices always made my day better. In my first year at Marian, I played badminton for winter sports. I made best friends two years levels above and I’m still friends with them! 🙂 Then, I joined volleyball end of year nine of summer sports. It was my first time playing volleyball as a sport and enjoyed it! The next year I ended up doing Rock climbing instead of badminton and enjoyed it with my friends, though I quit later because I was getting tired haha .

The workload was moderate and at a level in which I could set some goals. Doing service for the school was nice, knowing I was helping someone. This school, although small, was a big family, learning from each other everyday. I would say so much more, but I’d probably be typing away here even after I graduate from high school.

Missing this school already. Good luck with 2024 Marian College!

(Also Seymour better win the house cup this year)
