Blake is very dedicated, and very attentive to his students. Given there are many students in his classes, it is impressive that he remembers each student’s strengths very clearly. Thanks to Blake, our kid now loves music so much, and loves his music classes even more! Also the class location is very close to the beach so you can have a walk after class too.
Through participating in classes at Maroubra Music School, my son has developed a huge love for music, with music very much part of his life now. Long gone are the days we need to remind him to practice.
No doubt the tuition has also contributed to him receiving a place in the top three in his music class at school. While 2020 was challenging with COVID, Blake went above and beyond to ensure music could continue while maintaining highest standards.
Blake, the way you connect with kids and your understanding of how kids learn music is remarkable. Thank you for the wonderful classes and the inspiration you have given Adam.
Maroubra Music is fantastic for young (and old) musicians at any level. Its not “traditional” music learning. It’s fun, dynamic and engaging and no two lessons seem to be the same. Blake is absolutely dedicated to ensuring that the kids (and grown ups) want to come back week after week, and is great at communicating after every class, and providing exercises to do from home. I highly recommend!
I also have to specially commend him for the efforts that he went to to make his studio COVID safe so that everyone could get back to class!
Our son has been going to this music school for more than one year and he loves it!
Blake is a very good teacher, professional and very keen to share his passion for the music with the kids in a fun environment. He is always teaching them new songs or rhythm patterns using different instruments which is not common for a music school. Now, our son is learning to play piano, guitare and likes singing! We highly recommend this music school.
What a great creative outlet for my daughter. She loves going to every class and talks about her creations with us after her lessons. Her teacher Blake is great with the kids and definitely keeps it fun. I would definitely recommend Maroubra Music School to anyone with kids.
