This school doesn’t care about students health an wellbeing. They don’t take action on bullying. They need to start expelling bad students instead of giving them many chances. Full of disrespectful, entitled, bratty people.
Think it’s actually disgusting how the school thinks it’s ok to make one of the few and the main males toilets completely open (don’t expect them to do that for the women’s bathroom too!), as you can legitimately just look in and see the entire bathroom. It’s a complete invasion of privacy, it’s disgusting, and it’s just unacceptable, that the school wastes money on it. I understand the argument that it’s to stop children from damaging and vaping in the bathrooms, but is going to happen anyway, and you’ve just made it worse as these children will go to desperate measures to do as such. The school needs to pick up their game, the is just wrong.

Don’t understand why uniform is such a big deal, these children are there to learn not to worry about if their skirts are too high or if their sock are to low, and is a waste of their lunch time if they may have forgotten to fix it at some point. Also don’t understand why if these students are doing Prac PE then why they can’t rock up to school in their sports uniform or leave in it, it legitimately just waste more time of the lesson getting changed in and out of uniform, no one could care, and the only people who could care are older people who don’t even have young children’s anymore. In my eyes the school tries to be “hip and new” but is just out dates.

Another thing not entirely the schools fault is that parents will get to school 1:30-2:00 which is an hour before the bell even goes, pretty much making the after school traffic way worse than it has to be by backing up the traffic into the year 12 park, then the year 12 students get in trouble because they have to deal with impatient parents driving into the area to wait for their kids an hour early, the school needs to do something about such early arrivals of parents. Parking situation is pretty bad, having a school of 2000 students including the primary doesn’t help with the limited parking space, and although their are bus services, they are usually late or end up breaking down.

This school likes to help certain students who are what they want to represent the school, and the rest get completely neglected. From my 13 years of attending the school, I can say that there was a lot of strange religious ideas that felt misogynistic. My religion teacher once told me it was a woman’s responsibility to cover herself to protect herself from men. In preparation for a priest to see us. The bullying was insane and many kids were on hard drugs in my grade. When I asked for help I was called a liar. And was ignored when I was struggling.
if it were possible, probably would have given it a zero. new principal is terrible <3. so many horrible changes that it makes me sick to know i go here the only advantages is education, and its cheaper than most schools in qld. if you're going to make changes actually make them worthwhile
I feel sorry for students with all the staff changes, clearly something is wrong . A mass exodus of some of our favourite teachers last year due to administration changes and new demands- from what I hear it largely stems from the new principal. We have withdrawn our kids and sent them to a school further away which is inconvenient but it has a better feel about it- focus on wellbeing not just achievement and a sense of community. At the end of the day you want your kids happy and they were just so stressed. Honestly, I am so disappointed though as both my husband and I are ex students.
