I love this school a lot ever since my 1st and 2nd son started going there 3 years ago. I really like their curriculum, how they let student of that age read classical books. They really prepare the student for college and success in general. I really got very emotional when I pulled my boys out of this school, and that’s because the school will be moving to their new campus, and that’s going to be farther away from us. Also, our work schedule changed and the kids will be needing to stay at school a bit more before they get picked up since Maryvale doesn’t have after care that opens till 6pm. All my kids teachers are great teachers and always wanted the very best for my kids. Ms. Soto is phenomenal, she is ever ready to help with any question and she knows how to do it fast and get you on your way. All my kids teachers always communicate with us effectively. Mr. Easu, is an outstanding person, he is a really devoted, hard-working person I have ever seen. He is a good communicator, and addresses any issue in a timely manner. He is also very polite and select the choice of the words he uses. I have conviction in my heart that the students in this school will excel and do great in life. I will say this, perhaps my boys are not happy where they currently go now, and if we the parents are not happy either, we will surely take them back to Maryvale Prep Academy and find ways we can work our schedules out. But for now, we are sorry that we had to leave. I can’t really find any negative thing to say about this school, or maybe if there is any, the positive side has over shadow it. ??????????Awesome school!!!
Hello, I am a Parent, my student told me that there was a bug infestation.A week ago my child also said that there were administrators checking backpacks and people spraying the rooms. However I did not get such a notification. Last year a student got lice at this school and all they told this student that it was okay to go back to class. Same thing happened this year. As a school they are not proactive, they dont follow protocol or procedure. There not equipped for situations such as these. And the nurse is so bad. My kid came home with a busted lip I was not notified until I saw him with a busted lip. There have been several occasions where the nurse has neglected her duties. I implore that this school to get a another nurse. Who doesnt neglect duty. Unfortunately I couldnt report this school to the BBB because you are a private sector. However if I need to report over and over again I will happily do so. I am removing my child from this school. I wish you luck on your endeavors.
My daughter started on first grade and my wife filled the app one moth before early right, so she was approved by age and under their policy , well guess what they want downgrade her to kindergarten at 2 day of school and I said no way and why they said cuz she never went the kindergarten and then said cuz she need 6 years old before sept 1 when their rules said 6 years old BEFORE December on Charter Schools very disappointing with the Principal no feelings just went to us very straight without any kind of conversation and nothing else but dont worry I would like fill a complaint to that Principal if doesnt work I will be ready for lawsuit for discrimination
