Disappointed with our experience.
There is very littleSocial/emotional support even though this was our no.1 point of discussion in our enrolment interview and ILP meeting. Fidgets, wobble cushions, chews etc are banned.
Promises of additional testing/ assessments were never carried out (even though permissions were signed and submitted). Followed up multiple times only to be told they won’t be going ahead.
Our child was sent home multiple times for ‘not engaging in learning’ – laying with their head on the desk and not doing STAR one of the reasons why we had to collect.
When concerns were raised we were met with a response of ‘well, MSA is not for everyone’. Or ‘there is no way your child could say they are struggling as we teach at their level and they are achieving mastery’.
We were so hopeful for an amazing experience but sadly the school Did not deliver on its promises for us.

We took a leap of faith hoping that a change of schools could help change the trajectory of our son’s schooling. We enrolled our son in 2022 (foundation student) he completed year 9 and year 10 before graduating in 2023. During this time he excelled at school for the first time in his schooling life. Our son jumped years in his reading level and had massive improvements in maths. What was more important for us is that he gained confidence that he had never had before in his education and his abilities. This school changed our life and our sons and not only academically, they supported his emotional wellbeing through some significant external stressors and truly showed nothing but support and compassion. We only wish that he was able to have gone there earlier. If you have a disengaged child, reach out and explore the possibilities that could be waiting. Sharon Angel is truly an angel and has been a pillar of support and encouragement for our entire family, we had never met her, nor any other staff members but every staff member has left a lasting impression on our family.
I enrolled my daughter to MSA she felt comfortable from day one, she made friends easily and wants to go to school each day where she didn’t before. In only 2weeks her level of maths comprehension was grater then the last 3 years of main stream school

My girls have been attending MSA for almost 2 years now and we love it. I have seen so much improvement from day 1.
We have noticed their grades as well as their approach to learning and daily living tasks improve immensely. The girls are now self motivated to get themselves ready for school and we never have an issue with them not wanting to attend.
We are so happy and relieved that we found a school that actually helps them to learn and they are no longer getting left behind.
A huge difference that I believe has help them improve is that they are in a safe environment. The school doesn’t stand for bullying and our girls know that unkind behaviour is not tolerated.
The positive behaviour and language set out by the staff at the school stands out above any school I’ve been too. I believe that this has made such a great environment for my kids to learn.

The school is a scam , not sure how teachers fresh out of uni with degrees in gender studies/lesbian dance theory with no life experience or teaching experience are expected to teach kids with disabilities, autism, disengagement for school system etc. Also if your kids have any behavioural issues than they expel you after a 4 week trial , instead of teaching kids and giving them time to adapt they expunge them , disgusting ! Also their teaching system is a joke , this school is more like a cult trying to indoctrinate robots !
