Mazenod College is absolutely a terrific Secondary college to educate the boys. My two boys have been transferred from a very reputable Christian college to Mazenod due to various reasons. But I never regret my decision. Although I don’t know why there are very few Chinese students in this school but I have to say this is an awesome school. The teachers and staff are so friendly and warm-hearted. The music department encourages each student to choose their favourite instrument to learn and there are lots of ensembles available for students to participate throughout the week. Also, the school provides numerous opportunities to students to perform on the small and big stages. Thank God Mazenod College provides Chinese as one of the Secondary language options. The Chinese teacher Ms. Cindy Mao is beautiful and very professional. Mazenod College strictly disciplines the boys to be the real gentlemen. They care about the community and actively participate in many activities to support the community. The school fee is fair enough and the school has been trying to provide the best facility to the boys. It is so grateful to let my two beloved boys in this school. They have become more confident here. If there will be more Chinese begin to notice this potentially treasure school in Melbourne’s SouthEast that would be fabulous! Thanks Mazenod, I have worry free to let my two precious boys spend their very important 6 years Secondary life here. I sincerely wish our school better and better in the upcoming years. God bless!
The only thing I learnt here was to look good in public so people can come to our school. We must wear our blazer to and from school or its detention. We have an assembly about how we want you to look good. Teachers suck
The Libary and Librarians are incredible, I love going there at lunch and snack to read and study. everybody loves the librarians. EVERYONE

I encountered Mazenod college students in my school years along with students from other colleges. The students here are gentlemanly and confident. Also attending the local church Mazenod is linked to, I know the school value its pastoral care. Having viewed the facilities and achievements of students at this school I am confident that the school has a good balance of academics and vocational achievements, catering for all student capabilities. Their music facilities are fantastic and students produce very high quality artworks. There is no mention of over strictness with uniform presentation at this school, as is the complaint with some catholic girls schools. It is a shame the majority of criticisms of this school is about the library/ librarian. I am so glad to be sending my son here. If anyone reading this can offer an equivalent recommendation for a girls school please post. I am struggling to find an equally great girls school in the area.
