Unfortunately, this is one of the worse schools ever. For the 2013-2014 school year, parents did not receive any information regarding their childrens room number or teacher’s name. Parents did not receive a supply list for their kids grade to know what they needed to be purchased during back to school supply sale. The website has not worked in 3 years. Before that, when you had access, it had posted events from the prior year, not updated at all. This school is so unorganized. When you do receive letters or memorandums from the school, mostly all of them are misspelled and lack correct grammar in English and it is worse in Spanish. This only proves what kind of teaching our kids are receiving. During 2011-2013 school years, the cross guards would show up at 7:55a.m. to cross the kids that had to enter at 8am. This school does not have any air conditioning and the poor kids have to suffer on the third floor with fans on a 98 degree day. Nor does the school clean the snow on snow days. Their so called healthy school lunch consists of burgers and pizza every other day. The paint on the ceiling and stairway is coming off and crackled off being the reason for high asbextos and lead. Such a shame that this was one of the schools that was left open, poor children in a poor community.

This is school is a really safe a good school. There’s is a lot of programs and most kids stay after school for this good programs about art and their community. This school totally got better…. What am I saying, it was always good??

Worst run school of all Chicago. The principal doesn’t even care when CPD is on her property due to an issue with her own asst. Principal.
