It is an OK school i guess but as a current student the stereotypes and the idea that some students have more power or social ability than others is just wrong to me. People get thrown around in McC and they’re is a lot of secret fights and drug and beer exchanges that somehow the AP never finds out about. They’re is kids being terrorized everyday for being themselves and that’s not ok. I personally don’t get bullied but i witness alot. Also i am a member of the Lady Highlander Bball team and I LOVE IT thats where the second star comes in. Athletics really builds social skills and really nice bonds with people you would never imagine being friends with. The only thing that i do not like about the athletic department is that it seems every day we have a roach in the locker room and my friend and i are always carrying them out and its not just in the locker rooms. MCC has a roach problem.
As a current student at McCullough, the school is okay. It has some good teachers that help students out a lot and some bad teachers, like most schools. It’s filled with a lot of snobby rich teenagers who brag about what they own. Bullying isn’t to bad for me personally, but I know for some people it’s bad. The busses are terrible and have lots of problems daily where an AP has to talk to people. The dress code can sometimes be to strict and it should be a little more relaxed. For students with depression, anxiety, problems at home, etc it’s not very good. Many people around me have trouble at home and some form of depression, and the school doesn’t really help.
Like I said, it’s not to shabby.
Something needs to be done. There are tooo many people that do drugs and the seventh graders are always getting bullied by them eight graders. The lunch lines are a HUGE problem. The ladies will look at the fly infested meals and not even care. Mr. McCord if you are reading this, something needs to be done about the lunch line. My friend got an under cooked corn dog. I have gotten chicken that has been burnt, and the eight grade boys that think they are too important for lines always cut in front of the lunch lines and the ladies dont do anything about it. Mr Mcord I entreat you to do something about this. Thank you.
