This school has gone from strength to strength and every year the progress of my children’s learning has over exceeded my expectations. The school has great extracurricular activities, including links to Chelsea football, gymnastics clubs and community links to mention a few.
It has amazingly supportive teachers that put all the effort in adhering to the child’s and parents needs.
Since my children first started their teachers have always addressed gaps in their learning with extra resources and guidance. I get regular feedback on every thing from their wellbeing, behaviour and learning. As a parent being supported in your child’s learning is paramount, that’s why I highly recommend Melcombe primary school.
Outstanding school
Thank you
Despite several attempts to contact the school’s administrators and Headmaster (by various methods), I have been roundly ignored.
Once, during an afternoon, I was blocked by a double-parking parent (there were many available parking spaces nearby) and needed to get to an appointment. After calling the school, I was told “Sorry – the site agent will come straight out and help you”. Nobody came, despite me waiting 30 minutes (and missing my appointment), and they never answered the phone again or returned my messages.
Living and working near MPS is utter misery, due to the complete disregard amongst the parents and faculty for neighbours. If you are thinking of sending your children there, may I suggest investing in a set of ear-defenders (to protect the little ones from the foul language and road-rage threats), and a set of blinkers to prevent them from learning some of the worst driving ever seen in London.
