Mr Williams (Geo), Mrs Glossop (Math), Mr Hilton (PE & resident comedian of it’s a long way to Tipperary fame), Mr Crawley (Headmaster) Mrs Parker (RE), Mr Roberts (Eng), Mr Stan Bridges (Hist & Form tutor) Probably still wondering how Michael Collier and myself each came in with 98% in history test:). Many happy memories of the early 60’s. Strange to say I cannot remember my Science teacher/s, which, considering I went on to become a science teacher, probably reflects poorly on them or maybe I’m becoming senile. However I do remember chasing little balls of mercury across benches in the lab, try getting away with that today!! NO THANK YOU. Finally, a very special thank you to Mr Bridges, not only was he a brilliant teacher (and disciplinarian, ‘reinforced’ with board ruler and/or gym pump ;)) he was a great bloke for whom I had great respect. Maybe the 5 stars is a too generous mark today, I hope not, because fifty plus years ago it was very worthy.
Great school I went here as a kid and my little one will go to
