We moved me to online school for my mental health, and it has helped me a lot! They just have courses that you do on your own and help from teachers only if you need it. I’ve never been in one myself, but I do think there’s one on one that you schedule and then there’s general ones that will be available at certain times. I think they just go over it as a whole in those ones. They’ll give you a mentor that you meet with weekly to discuss how you’re doing (from my experience they’re amazing) and you schedule those meetings yourself.
Overall, it was the right decision for me, but please listen to your child if they say this isn’t right for them! Everyone is different.
This place is amazing and provides new innovative ways to learn for children and teens. With these new innovative ways I’ve saw grades go from all C, D, or even F grades shift up to A’s and B’s. If your child or teen is having trouble sitting through 7 hours of school/insane asylum with slob lunches everyday, I would seriously recommend rethinking with them and seeing if they would learn better with ways such as this!??
