Sonography program
I applied for Sonography program, their interview was a joke. The Interview was done by three People, however if they decide to eliminate you from the program before interviews then you will be interview Played by two people. That’s why they set a meeting prior to interview to evaluate all applicant at northeast campus, and discuss about the program so make sure to take a good note about the program because during the interview you will be asked about how much info you remember . During the interview they will ask You what do you like about your job and what you don’t like about your job. Why you are interested in this program? There is also age discrimination, Older people have zero chance to be accepted for the program.????
I love the advisers and have enjoyed my classes but the waiting period to get into programs is absolutely ridiculous. They claim to have done away with waiting list this past year, but it still takes 2-3 years to get into the “2 year” programs because they only accept like 20 people each year. The waiting list for Dental Hygiene is almost 8 years!!!! If I hadn’t of wasted 4 years here and taken so many classes. I would not be waiting to get into their program and deff would go somewhere else. Most LPN programs are around 16 months long to graduate, it takes 2 years just to GET IN to their LPN program.
I think the experience is what you make of it. I loved the time I spent at Tech and I think it’s a great school especially if you want to transfer credits. I received 2 Associate degrees in 2 years while I worked 2 jobs at Tech as a custodian ( under contract) and working for the actual school in the Bookstore. Mostly everyone was very helpful and I learned a lot. S/O to Dr. Mary Rawls and the Human Services Program!!
