I am currently a student at Milan. I am in the Massage Therapy Course and so far I have gained full understanding of the Swedish massage and what it involves technically and physically. This review is mainly to highlight my instructor Gilbert! This understanding and confidence I have gained in my current skills is accredited to him. He has demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, intellectual knowledge, hands-on knowledge, and integrity. He portrays the qualities needed as a Massage Therapist, teacher, and continuous practitioner of his area of expertise. He embodies patience, empathy, wisdom, correction, and lack of fear that allowed me to learn and find my own rhythm while still upholding the integrity of the foundations of massage.All of the values to me are what’s needed to hold the title of a teacher. I feel confident so far and equipped to move along in my studies and learn what the next course has for me. I am so very thankful for this opportunity and I look forward to what the present and future holds for myself, my clients, and all new students entering into Massage Therapy.
Irissa Recio gave me the BEST haircut of my life. I didnt know if a student would be able to give me a good shag mullet, wolf cut, but Irissa DELIVERED. I knew I was going to need someone who was willing to have fun and take a chance, as this haircut can get botched because its more of an unusual/advanced cut. Irissa made it such a fun and enjoyable experience. She helped me get out of my comfort zone and I am loving the haircut more and more everyday. Thank you Irissa for giving me a haircut that has given me so much confidence and has helped make my personal style so much more defined and eccentric. I will be coming back to you to maintain my cut, as I really do trust your process and ability as a hairdresser. If anyone is looking for a haircut that is stylish and different and will make you feel like the cool girl/it girl, hit Irissa up at Milan for an experience you wont regret. The awesome thing to consider is that she will ONLY get BETTER as time goes on, and wow, that is impressive.
