I give this establishment 5 STAR’S based on my personal experience with my boy’s. They have made a POSITIVE turn around which is very noticeable. Of course the cadets will think that the staff is hard on them but I’m a TRUE BELIEVER in if you spare the rod then you spoil the child!!! Commander Miller does an AWESOME job with the cadets showing them LOVE and I’ve personally witness him hugging a cadet telling him that he believes in him and he’s going to make it. He has also stated to me that the cadets are like his own children he LOVES them ALL and don’t mind saying it and pushing them for the BEST!! Like I stated my boy’s has made a great change in all area’s of their lives..their grades are phenomenal, their attitudes are phenomenal, their behavior is phenomenal, my boy’s are just phenomenal!! THANK YOU Miller’s Military Academy and Commander Miller for an PHENOMENAL job in guiding my boy’s down the right pathway..May God’s Grace and Mercy continue to be with!!!!
The communication between the associates at the school to the parents is absolutely horrible. Its next to impossible to talk a teacher. Especially as far as grades. The only thing you can count on is them letting you know if your child has been disruptive in school. But, then again that’s the reason why they go there(to get there attitudes in check. I not once got a report card or progress report. And, I’m not the only one. There are other parents with the same issues.
Yeah. It is an unbelievable situation when sending your son there. There is a lot of up front lies Miller tells you to hook you in. Little to no communication with parents about anything. Be very careful sending your High School student there because once you start, no matter how you feel about the school, you may have to finish there or your child probably will not graduate on time.
