I attended Miller both my junior and senior year of High School (2015-2017), and I absolutely loved it. I took Computer Maintenance with Mr. Bobo, and Internetworking with Ms. Washington. They are by far the best teachers I’ve ever worked with, and teach both subjects extremely well. Miller opened up so many new job opportunities for me by allowing me to take certification tests and earn my A+ Certification. The core learning teachers (math, english, etc.) are also excellent themselves. If you’re a student seeking to get a jump start on life before & after college, Miller is definitely the place for you. I also loved Miller because you get to take a break from your home campus everyday, whether you have miller in the morning or afternoon, so you’re not just stuck at your main campus seeing the same people all day long; it’s like a fresh view when you get to Miller everyday.
I went to this school for my junior/senior year and am now applying what I learned in the competitive work-force. I found my experience here invaluable. I took Audio Engineering my Junior year, and Computer Networking 1 my Senior year. The latter class was much more valuable to me, since it was the field I was looking to go into (and am now in). I learned things in Networking that are putting my ahead of my colleagues.
However, in both classes I had wonderful teachers that I got a well-rounded learning experience with. Special thanks to Mr. Bertram and Mr. Bobo!
I went here for my junior and senior year for Practicum in Health Science Clinical Rotations and Pharmacy Tech. My time here gave me valuable experience that helped me make my career choice earlier in life. Although some of the core class teachers aren’t great, there are many who rock and love to interact with the kids. All in all, I don’t regret taking classes here.
EDIT: I found that the requirements changed so that Practicum in Health Science Clinical Rotations is now a class for seniors only.
