This school is horrible. Period! I am a former student that left after 2 year in this hole of a school. And I feel that this is the only school that would respond to there bad reviews and look up the people who wrote them, that is why I am using a fake name. I truly feel that this school is all about the money and numbers. That is why they have like six kindergarten classes and like one eighth grade class. Their special classes are a joke, you will get art once every one to two weeks and it’s on a cart. I left before they changed the cafeteria into two classrooms so they can get more students. If you ask any of any of the students who go there I bet they can give you many stories of there horrible time there. I choose not to speck about the staff because I feel that every school has there share of annoying teachers/staff. Except the fact that one of their former teachers was weirdly strange. I read in their responses to their bad reviews that they are proud of their microwave diners that they call lunches. One girl opened her “rib” and found it pink, maybe they took it out of the microwave 10 minutes before it was done. Unless you like overcooked unflavored carrots, the meals are abysmal. If you are thinking of sending your child there I suggest not to do so, but do as you please just take extreme caution. And dear MPCS please don’t send me a response saying I never went to this school, because it is very unprofessional to respond to your bad reviews anyway.
Do not send your children here, they are cruel. Have absolutely no compassion for a student that may fall short of their ridiculous standards (which I might add, they only really care about their numbers.) Don’t even bother trying to email or call anyone from administration, including Mr . Garcia himself.. I still have yet to hear back from him from an email I sent to the address listed on their website over 2 months ago and no one else will return your call or email either. It was a begging to help my child succeed email, it was completely disregarded. Counselor is almost never available, child study team never reached out to address that this school closed their eyes to my son FAILING MISERABLY for 3 out their 4 marking periods. I finally got done begging for them to hear me and I’ve transferred my son to another school.. and low and behold, he’s thriving!! Shut down Charter School, stop sending your children here. They are a fast recipe to childhood depression, low self esteem, and lack of confidence for a child. What school allows a child such degrading feelings and turns their eye?! This school is HORRIBLE!! Thanks to my story alone, I have stopped several families from enrolling their children and I will continue to share our story so that no other child will EVER BE LEFT BEHIND!! (which is a law, by the way)
It is such a shame that my granddaughter doesnt want to go school because the way Mrs Raymond has treated her, on and often. She feels scared and threatened, in a way abused mentally and emotionally
The staff of the school doesnt do anything and its a shame, as parents we trust our children to get and education and grow, and the teachers are well qualified to be with other children I dont recommend this school at all.Her main teacher is great and loveably but when she not in school the substitute teacher mistreats her, the staff, The principal and nurses knows about the situation nothing has been done to the point that they left her in school all day with a fever of a. 102. Degrees and pain in her back. Again we trust and send our children to get an education not to be mentally traumatized.
