It was many years ago when I first began my journey upon the martial arts path, little did I know then that it would be a life long love that I would still be standing in awe of nearly 40 years later. In all those years I have experienced many different styles of martial arts, from Chinese to Japanese, from combat to kata and also many different approaches to imparting the knowledge of those ancient arts. It was through this that I came to know that all expressions of the art itself, can only be limited by the Teacher and the student, when you find that which works for both, you have found a true treasure.
It is my belief that I have found that treasure here at the Mint Hill Kung Fu School, and I would recommend this school to anyone interested in Kung Fu or martial arts. The ability to learn directly from Master Li Chi Keung in his Sunday class is a opportunity that most schools never get to experience, and having his direct lineage student Sifu Christopher Facente as an instructor is in itself a treat.
The moment you walk through the door you are made to feel comfortable and at home, the Sifu are all very knowledgeable, helpful and patient, and in every class you tend to learn something new, either about the art, or yourself, so if martial arts is your thing the Mint Hill Kung Fu School has it all, from forms to weapons to sparring!
So please do stop by and experience this for yourself, once I was where you are now and I decided to check out the school and I can say that the only regret I have about my decision was I wish I had done it earlier.

In February, I found myself struggling to find the right Kung Fu School for me, I decided to check out Mint Hill Kung Fu and Lai Tung Pai as a replacement for Traditional Wing Chun training I had taken the year before.

I couldnt have been happier to have found what I found in this School!

Not only is the art exactly what I had been seeking, which is an incredible combination of long and short fist techniques with many of the great aspects of Wing Chun within it as well, but it had the extra benefit of becoming a new extended family as well!

Today my entire family, none of which have ever trained in the past, now study Kung Fu together. We are proud members of an incredible Kung Fu family that has adopted us into the fold from the very first day. Everyone from the lowest ranks of peers to our fantastic Cadre of high ranking students and Black Sash’s, to Sifu’s Chris and the incredible Sifu Li has taught us Kung fu and a lot about ourselves.
