I thought it would be nice to write a review for Monarch Academy since I’ve been attending this school for nine years 🙂

Being at Monarch allowed me to seek new interests, open up more to my peers and teachers, and build more friendships with others.

What is the support like at Monarch Academy?

There are teachers and staff who are there to help students when needed. In my opinion, most of the teachers and staff who work at Monarch are very trustworthy. I felt comfortable sharing personal things with them, and I am glad that they listened.

What is the school environment like at Monarch Academy?

The school environment at Monarch is ok. Not the best, but still in the process of getting better. Something that I’ve noticed while being at Monarch is that teachers, staff, and students have either come up with solutions for a problem or found new ideas to make our school a safer place for others. I love the events we have at Monarch. Being a part of these events has helped me see what I can do in the future to become a better me, if that makes sense.

What are the classrooms like at Monarch?

I haven’t been to the school in a very long time due to the pandemic that has been going on for the past year or two. But from what I remember, the classrooms were very colorful and had plenty of motivational posters. I never really found anything appealing or engaging to me, but I thought it was nice that the teachers made their classrooms pop more, in a way.

All in all, Monarch is a great school. If you’re looking at schools for your child to attend, I highly suggest looking into Monarch Academy :))

Thank You for listening to my review. Have a great day too!

As a student I feel like I should rate my school. This is the only school I’ve been to for leaning reasons so I don’t have much to compare but… Monarch or magb is grate but even better for students who may need more help because of the smaller class sizes. I am in 7th and my science class (this is not normal but happens sometimes) is a total of 9 people.
Magb also has a grate class called improv and is lead by a good teacher. We do live shows in highwire and won an award last year.
Most teacher are really good at respecting my IEP and 504. I only once had to show my 504plan to a sub because she told me I couldn’t use my computer.
Our principal and assistant principal are around to help a lot and there are many support staff to take kids on a break or step in for a teacher.
I saw someone saying that monarch dose not falow cricolom but I know her and her kids don’t live in the same county and are not medically disabled so it makes sense they are more advanced in learning.
I love my school and even thow there are less class choices there is a few classes you can’t get anywhere else.
Best prison I ever visited! The cells were cozy the guards were polite and sometimes we got yard time! One time a fellow inmate tried to escape, but they handled it quickly. Although I had to remove a star for the food which wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t too bad for school food. I have been going to monarch since kindergarten and just graduated 8th grade yesterday as of writing this. But despite what I wrote above monarch is a great school where kids learn to make a community and can impact what happens in school. There are fun clubs, the teachers are kind, and there are tons of memories. And of course I have to mention the giant playground Neptune. It is the most fun playground EVER. Although the food is a little weird but it’s school food and honestly you get used to it. So can i recommend monarch? absolutely. Like all schools it has its kinks to iron out but overall it is a great experience and I could not imagine going anywhere else.
