My son first started at Newport Montessori when he was almost 2 years old. He had a difficult time transitioning, as this was his first school. While he learned a lot, his social skills were lacking, as the teachers there where not the warmest people I’ve ever met. He was there for one year and then transferred to Montessori CDC right before his third birthday. Since starting here, he has flourished tremendously! He now plays with friends and shares more frequently with regard to what is on his mind. The teachers (and owners) at Montessori CDC truly care about their kids and this has made my son feel extremely welcome and comfortable. They even helped through potty training!! We love Montessori CDC and would highly recommend this school to anyone whose child needs a few extra hugs during the day!!
This is really a great school for your little ones, my both granddaughters go to this school and both love their school. We are so impressed by their educational system at the same time they are supper friendly to the kids. The school has very safe environment specially the way they handled Covid-19 safety rules, and therefore we felt so comfortable and safe to let our second granddaughter to join her older sister when she turned 1.5 years. Ms Ann and Ms Sandy are the two sisters who manage the school, both are very friendly and attentive to the details when it comes to the kids safety and education.
This is one of two authentic Montessori schools in Orange county. Schools like this are very hard to come by. If you want a school that follows the heart of Maria Montessori then this is the school for your family. Kind, caring, dedicated guides(teachers) and administration.
