Hello Katy Community,

Just wanted to write a quick review on this school.

I have been beyond blown away by Montessori Kids Universe Katy.

My husband and I, did so much research on various schools around the area, toured the schools, looked at reviews, and talked to parents outside of schools (like stalkers, lol)…we spent hours and hours relentlessly trying to find the “perfect ” place for both our daughter’s.
We have a 3.5 year old and 19 month old.

After much research, we decided with this school.

I know now, that THIS school was the best decision we ever made!

Looking back, I now only regret not enrolling them sooner!

We have seen both of our daughter’s grow not only intellectually, but in so many ways they have matured.

The staff, genuinely cares about our children and I feel so comfortable entrusting them while I am out at work for long hours.

The school has a great curriculum where my girls have visibly flourished so much and improved cognitively.
Education, even at this age, is a standard my husband and I hold very high, and they have beyond met our expectations.
Developmentally appropriate activities are incorporated in their daily assignments and encourage them to grow even more daily.

Nutrition is also big for both my husband and I…as he is a Physical Education Teacher/Coach and I am a Registered Nurse…they provide organic menu for our kids and encourage them to build healthy eating habits.

This is a wonderful school. I have toured many schools before placing my son in their care. The school is brand new, very clean, very well organized and offers organic lunches and snacks for the little ones. It was important for me to find a school that is an authentic Montessori school and is a member of the American Montessori Society. Additionally, I wanted to make sure that besides stimulating his brain and expanding his horizons, my son was going to be fed a healthy and organic meal. This school offers all of that and more because they also offer a Reggio Emilia arts and science program. My 3 year old loves coming here to learn and explore new things. A lot of times he doesn’t even want to leave. The staff and the teachers are extremely caring and attentive. They are in constant contact with me about my son’s development and daily activities. The school has a great online portal for parents. I can log in and see all the daily activities that my son was involved in (along with the description of the activity and the developmental benefits of it for my child). The best part about the portal, is the daily upload of photos from my son’s class. I can see him happily working on different Monressori lessons, playing on the playground, eating his delicious lunch, or planting in the garden. I feel very confident and comfortable leaving my child in their care. I know that he is well looked after, is safe and is actually being taught in the true Montessori way.

For several years we have been a family at this wonderful school. The staff have been so dedicated to raising my kids to be independent, respectful and strong leaders. They have cared for my little ones like family members and it shows in their bond with the kids. We are excited every day to go to school and the kids come home able to described what they worked on daily. Recently we switched to a “high profile” preschool and we returned to MKU- Katy within 2 weeks of leaving. We were making the switch for location reasons, but it became clear very quickly that they were lacking the structure, caring staff and the tools to meet the needs of our little one. You cannot put a price on peace of mind when it comes to the care of your child. I would recommend this school for anyone wanting a solid learning foundation and safe growing environment for their little ones. Mrs Forman has been an instrumental part of making our journey so special.
