I usually don’t leave reviews for every business I visit, because I do expect a great customer service and have a good experience. But this one specifically requires my full attention and a great review.

My son been going to this amazing Montessori day care since he was 4 month old. I have to mention it’s our first child so me and my wife were a little worried sending our son to a day care. But, let me tell you, since day one, our son has been treated perfectly in all aspects! The built – in process of introducing babys to the world and starting to teach them in such a very young age made a huge difference in our sons life.
Our son is 2.5 years old, and he’s been going their full time for the past 2 years. Trusting a day care and the teachers to watch my son and make sure he grows in an environment that introduces him to so many different aspects of life was the greatest decision we made! Our son was introduced to different styles of music, different cultures and in general, a lot of things that you as a parent might miss on through such an important time of growth for your child. We have been getting a full report every single day, regarding EVERYTHING that was going on throughout each day. We knew the amount of times the diaper was changed, the amount and type of food our son was consuming(so important). In the end of each day we knew exactly what he was doing and how he was progressing in his growth. The teachers are very welcoming and are very pleasant. They encouraging the parents to incorporate as much as possible the things they are working on throughout the day to continue and practice at home so the kids would have a smooth transition from day to day. Now my son is old enough to fully understand where he’s going every day and he’s the happiest kid to get out of the car and run to his teachers. He feels very comfortable saying goodbye to his parents because he understands that it is part of his daily routine. Without the full support of the principals (Ms. Maria – Thank you), the teachers and the full synchronization with us as parents, it’d be very hard for us to keep progressing and introducing our kid to new things. So, thank you for being there for our son and making sure he’ll keep growing and be in a great educational environment!! THANK YOU!

A little bit about the day care:

It has a huge parking lot away from the street, which gives the piece of mind when dropping and picking up the kids.

The place itself is amazingly clean! Every time we drop our son and pick him up, we always see that someone is cleaning and sanitizing.

There is a huge gym there that has enough room for the kids to run inside of it’s cold or raining. There is also a full music room equipped with different instruments. Alex, who is a great teacher, he plays on variety of different instruments which gives the kids a great introduction to the world of music.

The other (and I believe the best) room is the jungle gym!! It is an indoor playground that will definitely squeeze every drop of energy out of your kids!

The classes are clean and equipped with bunch of different toys (which is important because kids like to play with the same toys). Every class has a great space for them to enjoy a story reading time, or to just run around.

Montessori & Music Daycare Center is the perfect place to have your kid grow and learn everything from holding a cup all the way to read a book. We are super happy with our son’s growth and development!

I would give you more than 5 stars if I could!
Thank you for everything that you do!

I have been a teacher and a parent at Montessori Academy of Chicago in the West Loop and Little Explorers Christian Montessori in Romeoville. Montessori for us is not something new, its a way of life. I have been teaching for over 6 years now and was privileged enough to watch my daughter complete the 3 year cycle and thrive academically as she transitioned into her new school during 1st Grade. I teach in the Primary 2 classroom, ages 3-6 years old at Montessori Music Center for just over a year now, I thoroughly enjoy the enthusiasm and creative nature of all the teachers, beyond that… I appreciate the inviting authentic Montessori classrooms for each age group, from infant to 6 years old, children are challenged academically (reading and writing from as little as four), more importantly how they learn. Celebrating holidays, It seems traditions are formed and learnt with joy. My favorite being, when our families joined us for a sit down Thanksgiving Feast the past November. The facility is also neat, clean, and built for children to come in ready to explore and thrive safe and happily. There are also two big indoor gyms ideal for those cold winter months to allow the development of gross motor skills and a huge backyard playground to challenge the older children with core strength. The grace and courtesy and love that the children display for each other including their teachers is very admirable, its something I appreciate as a teacher and mother. My daughter who is now 10 is looking forward to Summer Camp so she can bake, paint and grow vegetables and fruit in our backyard garden. Overall this has been a great experience interacting with the the diverse families we have and the sweet-spirited children that cross my path. Thank you Montessori and Music;) – Alisha M Bolling
We came and were greeted by the manager Angela who aggressive approached and demanded payment for the week that the daycare shutdown because one kid got Covid. The daycare was close for almost a week and we needed to pay for that week anyway. We pay weekly and never late on payments or miss them. Is not the first time that she behaves this way demanding payments. The day of the notice my husband asked her if she has in the contract about this notice, and she said yes. Today we came to discuss and see the contract, she didn’t want to listen or talk about it. She rudely told us if we don’t pay my child can’t attend daycare anymore. She said that in front of all the kids, and in front of my child. They’re having a Halloween party tomorrow that my child was so excited about it. My child has friends, and the teachers are nice there. However, the manager is really rude. Is really sad that the only thing that the manager cares about it is money. Zero humanity towards the kids. We just came today to discuss about the contract and to understand about it, and we were dumped by her. The manager said the owner had decided about the shutdown, and we requested to talk with the owner. I’m pretty sure there are other parents that are requesting answers about this week that daycare was close; we are not the only parents that asked about it. Another thing, it’s supposed to be a Montessori daycare, and they don’t even have Montessori certified teachers. Maybe only one, and according to them, this teacher is trying to teach the all team about the Montessori method. The only Montessori thing that you see there is the picture of Maria Montessori.
The only reason that made me wrote this it’s how she act in front the kids and I don’t understand why she even start discuss about that in front the kids.
