Montessori Village Academy has been the best thing that ever happened for my son. Diagnosed with ADHD in the second grade, he always struggled to focus and keep up with his classmates. Although his teachers meant well, they simply did not know how to help my little boy keep up with the structure of common core learning. His peers did not understand him and he was constantly left out of social groups. This often left him feeling sad, frustrated, and defeated. So we started looking for other avenues. That is when we meet Arlette Crump and learned of her Montessori school. Once my son started attending MVA, the changes were almost immediate. He was making friends, he was engaged, and he was excited about learning again. It was not the Montessori method alone that helped my son, but the amazing people who work for this school. I know that when my son goes to school every day, he is with people who truly care not only about his education, but his self esteem, and his happiness. I would recommend MVA to ANYONE. They have changed my son’s life forever.

I cannot imagine how differently things might have been had we not discovered this opportunity. Arlette truly has a gift when it comes to seeing the children for who they are and who they can become. Absolutely amazing! My little girl has been a montessori child since she was 2 years old and has spent her first grade year at MVA. They have been exceptional! Arlette and Michael have each and every child’s best interest at heart. They’ve kept our kids as safe as possible during the pandemic but still made learning fun and engaging. I’m in awe of the patience, energy and attention given to each child. If I could move MVA back to Texas with me when we return, I would. This school is, hands down, the best.
