Attended Primary Junior & High School being born 1951. The Junior School when I attended must have been one of the worst schools in the area and had classes of over 40 pupils. Teachers were inadequate and that included the Head Teacher and Deputy Head. Parents were not allowed in or allowed to speak to teachers If you attended the T stream you were given the worst teachers possible (Except Mr Yates in the last year who had the task of preparing us for the 11 plus which we already had no chance of passing. High School was totally different Mr Hibbs was on of the best Heads I am sure.
Attended in the 1980s under Mr Spencer. My daughter attends now, but, although a new school, it seems to be quite poorly run.
I’ve had a couple of occasions since September 2014 where members of staff seem to apologise for their own failings, but continue to fail.
I can only hope that this attitude does not continue into the classroom.
I like this school and I want to go to this school and also becasue Raffey Cassidy goes here
Nice school that helps students learn. Facilities are good
love it
