Most if not all classes share around school supplies so what you buy your child isn’t guaranteed to be used by them. Even if you label things, they will cross it out and give it to another student.
They don’t do much of anything against bullying, period. Students are teased, and kicked/punched/pushed over alot and nothing is done about it.
They are more than happy to suspend your children who aren’t officially special needs (but are waiting on a diagnosis) for a week plus instantly for doing anything (even if small) wrong.
If you have special needs children: They don’t properly support the kids to be ready for high school. My 12 yr old was allowed to do whatever they wanted in this school without a single suspension. Really made things hard for them at home with house rules and now in high school when they have to deal with the consequences of their actions. They also like to spend some if not all of your child’s funding on other special needs children.
If you have flight risk children: They leave the big black gates open all the time and they don’t close the classroom doors allowing them to run away easily. Not only can your kids run away onto the road or into the bush, strangers are able to walk into the school.
The teachers are fantastic, they love the kids.
