I booked a last minute appointment to get a haircut and was greeted by Miranda whom I believe is in the cosmetology section of the college. She was so sweet from the second I walked in (even after I was running behind and the last appointment of the day). I have curly, textured hair and have spent lotss of money on specialized curly cuts, traveled to different cities, and have even waited on lists booked out for a year to get in. And honestly, I never felt the time nor money spent was ever justified. This was until I met Miranda. She was so precise from start to finish. She was so gentle, I couldn’t feel her combing through my tangled hair, and she even mentioned trying to keep my curl pattern intact. She then took time to measure and cut the exact length I needed taken off to get back a healthy look while still maintaining my length. She seemed very knowledgeable and was able to cut layers and shape up longer bangs- I was so impressed. She spoke up to receive a little guidance from her teachers every now and then (they were also just as sweet). When I washed and styled my hair the next morning, I couldn’t believe how much I loved it!! Friends have even complimented how healthy and bouncy it looks. I will be getting her contact info for when she graduates! 10/10 experience. From an outsider looking in, this seems like an amazing beauty college.
Please do not register as a student here if you have any chronic mental or physical illnesses. I have horrible chronic anxiety/panic disorder which had been fairly well managed prior to my enrollment. I did not expect that providing massage would trigger my anxiety so terribly. I experienced a severe panic attack while providing a massage 4 days into my training, which was witnessed by my instructor, and at that time I decided that due to my condition it would be necessary to withdraw from the program. Despite offering to provide medical notes from my therapist and PCP, the school has denied any exception to their refund policy. I’ve lost $4,300 for attending for four days, and withdrawing out of medical necessity. I repeatedly shared with both my instructor and administration that I have a history of trauma and anxiety, but because I didn’t notify them in writing, they refuse to accommodate my anxiety according to the ADA. I have been very reasonable and only requested a refund only for unused school materials, and I’ve agreed to lose the tuition money. This has not helped. They are refunding 0%, and have no empathy for my situation. Very disgusting business practice.
Edit: Went in again today to see Payden yet again, she is very good at what she does. I have found my hairstylist for as long as she’s styling hair, the passion she has for doing hair really shines through in her work. First 3 pics are first visit, second 4 are this follow up visit. Cannot recommend her enough.

Went in today for a vivid coloring with a dash of Christmas and Payden did not disappoint. I could tell with everything she did, she loves to do hair, more specifically vivid colors through our chat. Will be back in a couple months for my hair and plan to take my kids as well at some point as well.
